Pharmacist
To ensure the safe, effective, and ethical dispensing of medications, provide accurate pharmaceutical care, and comply with UAE healthcare laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prescription Handling & Dispensing:
• Review and interpret prescriptions ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and legality.
• Dispense medications correctly and counsel patients on dosage, administration, and possible side effects.
2. Patient Care & Counseling:
• Provide medication-related advice to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Handle patient queries and complaints in a professional and ethical manner.
3. Inventory & Stock Management:
• Manage stock levels, monitor expiry dates, and ensure proper storage of medicines.
• Conduct regular audits of controlled substances in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams for timely stock replenishment.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Safety:
• Maintain accurate records of narcotics and controlled drugs.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols within the pharmacy.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and local regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management software and POS systems.
