Cleaner

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the restaurant premises. This includes cleaning dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and other facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize dining areas, tables, chairs, floors, and counters.

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wash floors regularly.

  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, mirrors, and replenish toiletries as needed.

  • Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste segregation and disposal.

  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including wiping surfaces and equipment (under supervision).

  • Ensure all cleaning materials and supplies are stocked and used safely.

  • Follow the cleaning schedule and hygiene standards set by the management.

  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.

  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

  • Assist with basic setup and arrangement of tables or chairs when required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cleaner or janitor (restaurant or hospitality experience preferred).

  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

  • Good attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

  • Physically fit and able to stand or move for extended periods.

  • Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
