Cashier
The Cashier is responsible for managing all customer transactions through the Point of Sale (POS) system with accuracy and efficiency, while ensuring excellent customer service. In addition to cashiering duties, the role also supports the dining room team by maintaining cleanliness, order, and guest satisfaction.
Accurately process customer orders, payments, and refunds through the POS system.
Handle cash, credit, debit, and digital transactions in accordance with company policies.
Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Generate receipts, invoices, and reports as required.
Monitor daily sales and report discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
Greet guests warmly and assist with queries related to menu items, prices, and promotions.
Assist with setting up and maintaining dining areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure guest readiness.
Ensure a professional and friendly interaction with all guests.
Support wait staff during peak hours by delivering food, beverages, or additional items to tables.
Ensure overall cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant floor.
Key Responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a cashier.
Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail, with excellent organizational and multitasking ability.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
