Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef for our Dubai restaurant, “It’s Good For Something.” The role involves producing high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and specialty items. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, creativity, and consistency, while working closely with the Head Chef to enhance menu offerings and elevate the overall guest experience.
Prepare, bake, and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty items.
Create new recipes, seasonal menus, and signature desserts that meet BridgeWay’s quality standards.
Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation across all pastry products.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of pastry workstations and equipment.
Comply with Dubai Municipality and HACCP food safety standards at all times.
Monitor inventory, track ingredient levels, and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
Train, mentor, and guide junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques and best practices.
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager on menu planning and event requirements. Support customized orders for VIP guests, special events, and private functions.
Assist the broader culinary team during peak service hours when required.
What You'll Do?
3–5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a hotel, restaurant, or high-end café.
Diploma or certification in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Culinary Arts. • Strong skills in classic and modern pastry techniques, dessert presentation, and recipe development.
High level of creativity, innovation, and passion for premium-quality pastry products. • Excellent attention to detail and strong presentation skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and proper storage methods. Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Flexibility to work morning, evening, weekend, holiday, and split shifts as required.
