BridgeWay is currently seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to the management and enhancement of our organization's IT infrastructure, focusing on the deployment, maintenance, and support of various IT equipment and systems.
Desktop Support Engineer
At BridgeWay, we operate through two key business models: Global nurse recruitment and BPO services. Our nursing recruitment division offers two exciting pathways: the Green Card and Student Visa programs. Through the Green Card pathway, nurses join us as full-time employees, while the Student Visa program allows you to pursue a Master’s degree with 100% tuition scholarship coverage, alongside a paid internship at our facilities.
In addition to nursing recruitment, our BPO services include a wide range of offerings such as IT Support, Accounting, Timekeeping, SQL, Business Intelligence Analytics (BIA), and much more. We pride ourselves on delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.
Launched in Dubai, UAE, in January 2022, BridgeWay has rapidly grown into one of the region’s most exciting success stories. Who We Are?
Conducting research and analysis to identify the company's IT equipment needs.
Manage the setup, repair, and deployment of laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and fax machines.
Reimaging desktops and laptops on a regular basis.
Hardware support, including desktops, thin clients, laptops, iPads, iPhones, Android devices, printers, multi-function copiers, multimedia equipment, and wireless devices.
Handles IT equipment orders for shipment to end users.
Helps maintain an organized inventory of all IT assets.
Assists in the final testing of new products.
Providing technical support to employees for all IT equipment.
Consulting with IT managers and other departments as required.
What You'll Do?
Must have experience performing desktop and laptop reimages.
At least three years’ experience in a technical support field, troubleshooting hardware/software problems.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
Great customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
Highly developed communication skills.
The ability to explain technical procedures in layperson’s terms.
Interpersonal skills requiring a maximum in courtesy, etiquette and tact, in order to deal effectively with all levels of management, staff, and outside vendors.
Ability to work independently -- candidate must be a "self-starter".
Reliable transportation.
Technical Certifications a plus.
